Each land has its own secrets but not everyone is chosen to know them. A lighthouse on a solitary cape, a mysterious ship stranded 40 years ago and a distinguished old room are some of the icons that will reveal the unknown stories of Tierra del Fuego

Our itinerary

Very early in the morning, our team leaves Ushuaia with our guests following National Route 3, we cross the Andes mountain range through the Garibaldi Pass. We stop in the small town of Tolhuin, heart of the island, to visit La Unión Bakery. This is a traditional meeting point for both locals and visitors and is part of the charm of the place. Around noon we arrive at Provincial Route “A”, where we take a gravel road to the Atlantic Ocean and Cabo San Pablo. At this point, we walk to an isolated hill with a lighthouse abandoned by guanacos paths crossing with them throughout their journey.

From up there, we will be able to appreciate El Desdemona, a ship run aground since 1985 that invites us to navigate through time. It was a cold morning in the winter of 1985, when a huge ship ran aground on the shores of the Argentine Sea. After exploring this mysterious giant, we visit Estancia Rolito, a charming country house that preserves the spirit of family entrepreneurship based on sheep tradition and is a pioneer in opening its barrier to rural tourism. Ani, Pepe and their children will show us the room and we will learn a very particular way of life.
