When Is the Best Time to Visit Patagonia?
Wind, light and crowds change dramatically through the year. Here is how to pick your season.

Patagonia’s trekking season runs from October to April. December to February brings the longest days and the most people on the trails, while October, November, March and April trade a few degrees of warmth for quieter refuges and spectacular autumn colors.
Winter (June to August) is a different trip entirely: ski touring around Ushuaia and Bariloche, snowshoeing through lenga forests and almost no one around.
Whatever the month, pack for four seasons in one day — the wind is the real protagonist down here.
