Overview

Because of the equatorial bulge, Chimborazo's 6,263 m summit is the farthest point from the Earth's center. This four-day private expedition includes an acclimatization ascent of Carihuairazo before moving to the Whymper refuge.

The summit night is long and demanding, crossing steep snow and ice for 8–10 hours to reach the Whymper summit. Only for climbers who have already summited peaks like Cotopaxi or similar.
