Overview
Lake General Carrera's waves have carved its marble shoreline into chapels, columns and tunnels streaked in white, grey and blue. By kayak you can slip inside the narrowest passages that boats can't reach, close enough to touch the polished rock.
The guided paddle takes around two and a half hours on the water and departs early, when the lake is usually calmest and the light inside the caves is at its best.
