Overview
Hike from the Catedral ski base along Lago Gutiérrez and up a forested valley to Refugio Frey, a stone hut beside an alpine lake surrounded by granite towers famous among climbers.
Spend the evening at the hut and return the next day via the ridge, with views over Nahuel Huapi and the Tronador volcano.
