Overview

The western islands are the youngest and wildest of the archipelago: lava fields barely a few centuries old, flightless cormorants, Galápagos penguins and the densest marine iguana colonies anywhere.

A small first-class yacht moves between islands at night, so every day starts somewhere new with a guided landing, snorkeling from the panga and time on deck watching for whales and dolphins in the cold, nutrient-rich Cromwell current.
