Overview
León Dormido, or Kicker Rock, is a split tuff cone rising 150 m out of the ocean off San Cristóbal. The narrow channel between its two halves is one of the best snorkeling sites in Galápagos.
With a guide alongside, you drift past Galápagos sharks, eagle rays, green turtles and schools of fish, often with sea lions joining in. The boat then stops at a white-sand beach for lunch and a second swim.
