Overview
The eastern sector of Torres del Paine holds one of the highest puma densities in the world. Working with a local tracker who follows radio reports and fresh tracks, you search the steppe on foot and by vehicle, often getting surprisingly close views of these big cats.
Along the way you will see guanacos, condors, rheas and grey foxes. Autumn and winter offer the best sighting rates and very few other visitors.
