Overview

The O Circuit adds the wild, less-visited back side of the park to the classic W. Over nine days you circle the entire massif, crossing forests, moraines and open steppe before reaching the John Gardner Pass, where the Southern Patagonian Ice Field spreads out below you.

Camps and refuges are booked in advance and a guide plus support logistics handle meals and permits. This is a true expedition-style trek for experienced hikers who want solitude as well as the famous viewpoints.
