Overview
Perfect if you only have two days: a short boat ride and a forest trail lead to Sandoval Lake, where you paddle a wooden canoe among hoatzins, herons, turtles and black caimans.
In the afternoon a canopy walkway lifts you into the treetops for toucans and monkeys, and after dark your guide leads a night walk. You fly out the next afternoon having seen a surprising slice of the rainforest.
